310T Red Seal Truck & Trailer Mechanic

Midland Transport is currently looking for a 310T certified Truck & Trailer Mechanicat our Cambridge Garage. The ideal candidates hold a Red Seal certification and have experience diagnosing repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Shift: Tuesday-Friday Day Shifts

• Perform inspections diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty trucks
• Complete routine maintenance and preventative service on engines brakes suspensions electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic issues
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of inspections services and repairs
• Assist in identifying required parts and supplies for repair
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
• Reporting nonconforming situations
• Other duties as assigned by the shop supervisor

• Truck and Coach Technician 310T certificate (Red Seal).
• Two or more years of relevant hands-on experience post-certification is preferred.
• Solid understanding of diesel engines aftertreatment/electrical diagnostics & air brake systems; experience working on trailers is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
