26000GTH-Business Analyst (intermediate)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a dynamic banking technology this role you will work at the intersection of business technology data and delivery partnering with business stakeholders IT teams and global delivery teams to define requirements and drive critical technology initiatives from analysis through implementation.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills with a solid technical understanding of banking applications SQL data analysis cloud technologies and Agile delivery. The role also requires the ability to take ownership of projects and contribute as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master when needed.

Perform data analysis and collaborate with business and IT teams to gather define and drive project requirements.
Manage backlog prioritization and support delivery planning.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) perform basic database queries troubleshoot issues and support problem resolution.
Act as Product Owner by challenging requirements negotiating priorities and building consensus among stakeholders.
Understand compliance and regulatory requirements and contribute to the design and architecture of compliance applications.
Take ownership of critical projects and lead Operating Committee and Steering Committee meetings.
Coordinate project priorities across global teams located in AMER and Asia.
Work with production support teams to resolve Level 3 production issues.
Lead project sprints Scrum ceremonies and release meetings with stakeholders.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of the technology behind banking applications.
Good knowledge of infrastructure web applications Unix and Windows operating systems and public cloud based applications.
Ability to analyze problems and discuss solutions with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Project management experience.
Scrum Master and/or Product Owner experience.
Experience with JIRA for backlog and task management.
Previous experience working with Java based banking applications and cloud technologies.
Strong knowledge of SQL and Big Data databases.
Experience working with large data sets and performing data analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
Nice to Have
Project experience with Microsoft Azure.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.

CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The determination of this range depends on several factors including skill level geographic market experience education and professional certifications. Compensation decisions are based on the specific circumstances of each individual case.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $60000 to $110000.
