Structure: Contract 12 months to start
Pay:$95.00 - $100.00 p/h inc. HST

Deliverables

  • Assess review and validate Vacuum Building Outage (VBO) and Vacuum Building Inspection (VBI) work scopes plans procedures and execution strategies to ensure safe efficient and compliant outage delivery.
  • Perform risk assessments task evaluations operational reviews and performance monitoring activities to identify potential issues and support successful outage execution across all four Darlington units.
  • Support outage planning scheduling work package reviews and readiness activities ensuring work is properly defined sequenced and aligned with station and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical and operational expertise to outage teams monitor execution progress and recommend corrective actions to maintain safety quality schedule and operational objectives.

Experience Required

  • Strong CANDU nuclear operations experience with a deep understanding of station operations outage execution work management and nuclear safety requirements.
  • Experience evaluating operational work outage plans maintenance activities inspection programs and station processes within a nuclear generating environment.
  • Knowledge of control systems mechanical systems civil systems and plant equipment sufficient to assess work scope operational impacts and outage readiness.
  • Experience with station work planning outage coordination risk assessment performance monitoring and regulatory compliance activities within a nuclear facility.
  • Former licensed Nuclear Operator experience and/or Engineering Management experience involving Reactor Safety outage management or station operations would be considered strong assets.
