AIGs Specialty Construction business helps clients manage risk across some of the worlds most complex construction and infrastructure projects. Drawing on decades of industry experience we provide tailored insurance solutions for a broad range of construction risks from commercial buildings and infrastructure projects to energy manufacturing and large-scale industrial developments.

Working alongside underwriters risk engineers claims professionals and multinational specialists you will help deliver innovative solutions that support clients throughout the project lifecycle. Combining deep technical expertise proactive risk management responsive claims support and global capabilities across more than 200 countries and jurisdictions AIG Construction professionals help clients build with confidence while protecting their people assets and long-term investments.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and underwriting of risks associated with commercial construction and infrastructure projects.

• Review project information financial data loss history and other exposures to support risk selection pricing and coverage decisions.

• Partner with underwriters risk engineers claims professionals and other specialists to develop tailored insurance solutions.

• Build relationships with brokers and clients while supporting new business and renewal opportunities.

• Assist in evaluating changing exposures throughout the project lifecycle and identifying potential risk-management considerations.

• Develop knowledge of construction insurance industry trends and emerging risks while building core underwriting skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Our Early Careers programs are designed for students and recent graduates who are beginning their professional careers generally within one year of completing their degree.

Education Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree to be received no later than June 2027 (unofficial transcript upon application).

Program Requirements

• Available to start the Program on July 26 2027.

• Analyst positions are in-person opportunities requiring employees to work in the office at least four days per week.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.

• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred majors include Risk Management & Insurance Finance Business Administration Economics Construction Management Engineering or a related field.

• Demonstrated interest in construction infrastructure commercial insurance or risk management.
