Job Description

We are looking for a result driven Retail Floor Manager who will be responsible for the daily store operations & Branch level accounting in Alcohol Division of our organization.

The successful candidate should be able to enhance customer satisfaction manage stock and place purchase orders manage the staff effectively & can-do day to day branch related basic accounting & can post in software for management reporting.

The goal is to oversee the operations of our store in ways that boost revenues client / supplier relations and thereby develop the business & handle day to day branch related basic financial transactions.

Responsibilities

.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service

.

Maintain an efficient and harmonious teamwork environment

.

Complete supervision of the store and all its processes and procedures from its sales activity to its cleanliness as well as its atmosphere

.

Communicate clearly concisely accurately and tactfully in order to ensure effective store operations as well as superior customer interactions

.

Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

.

Purchases & Stock management (with maintaining ageing factor re order level etc)

.

Maintain positive relationships with all suppliers & clients.

.

Oversee all transactions taking place in the store (client purchases supplier deliveries petty cash etc.)

.

Hold frequent marketing discussions with management for in store promotions and publicity based on market movement.

.

Prepare sales movement and stock statements for management when required

.

Candidate can post day to day branch level transactions in software (Sale/purchase/ petty cash etc )

.

Can prepare SOP / Check list for local staff team.

.

Candidate must have the knowledge of retail POS.

.

Reporting to management regularly by email WhatsApp or virtual meetings.

Desired Candidate Profile

Industry Preference:

.

Candidates from Alcohol or Beverage Industry are preferred

.

Retail Background required

.

Marketing background a plus

.

Fluent in written and spoken English

.

Preferred knowledge of French & overseas work experience (experience in Africa a plus) .

WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) or equivalent certificate with Level 1/2 will be a plus.

.

Accounting software (basic) knowledge will be a plus.

Have knowledge of Retail POS Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel

.

Proven successful experience as a Retail Sales Person / Supervisor

.

Min 5 yrs. Experience in retail / equivalent.
