MISSION

The CFO is responsible to oversee the financial health of our diversified conglomerate which operates across manufacturing distribution cross-border trade and investments in Cameroon and neighboring African markets.

ACTIVITIES

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

• Lead annual budgeting forecasting and variance analysis for all business units (manufacturing distribution trading).
• Develop financial models to evaluate business performance pricing strategies and cost optimization initiatives.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with OHADA standards and IFRS.
• Ensure timely submission of tax filings statutory audits and regulatory reports across jurisdictions.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

• Monitor liquidity manage cash flow cycles and optimize working capital for high-volume trade and manufacturing operations.
• Mitigate risks related to currency fluctuations credit terms and cross-border transactions.

ERP & Process Optimization:

• Utilize Odoo ERP to automate financial workflows enhance inventory management and streamline supply chain finance.
• Identify gaps in financial processes and implement digital solutions for Control & Profitability:
• Analyze cost structures across business verticals (e.g. production logistics) and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Partner with operations teams to align financial goals with production and distribution timelines.

Risk Management & Internal Controls:

• Design and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
• Ensure compliance with OHADA legal frameworks tax laws and transfer pricing regulations.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals fostering collaboration across accounting treasury and compliance functions.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and adherence to best practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Liaise with senior management auditors banks and regulatory authorities to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide actionable financial insights to drive business growth and expansion

QUALIFICATION

• Education: CA/CPA/MBA in Finance with 15 years of experience including 5 years in a senior finance role (e.g. Finance ManagerController) within a multi-sector organization.
• Regional Expertise: Proven experience operating in Cameroon and/or Francophone Africa with knowledge of regional market dynamics.

OTHERS TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Expertise in OHADA accounting and audit standards.
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP for financial reporting and process automation.
