Job Purpose and Impact

The T&L Freight Audit Payment Associate will support freight audit and payment activities ensuring compliance with established internal procedures and audit this role you will serve as a key contact for carriers regarding invoice discrepancies and payment status inquiries while partnering with internal business units and finance teams to support accurate invoice resolution payment execution reporting and data management activities.

Key Accountabilities

Contribute to maintenance and execution of regulatory compliance procedures accordance with established audit requirements.
Solicit collect and organize documentation and data and enter routine data into one or more systems.
Review validate and process freight invoices and carrier statements to ensure accuracy compliance with business requirements and timely payment execution.
Perform administrative or clerical duties in support of the shipment execution process and complete tasks using industry standard procedures.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma secondary education level or equivalent
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Fluent English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Knowledge of spreadsheet applications
Attention to the details
Fluency in French
Understanding of business functions focused on cost and budget controls
Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes
Experience in supply chain transportation or finance
