The impact you will create:
- Help team members play to their strengths and grow their careersHire strong engineers to keep service and engineering quality high and support STACKITs growth
- Own the design development delivery and operation of our IaaS cloud services (compute storage networking)
- Own the technical product vision based on customer needs and help shape the roadmap
- Run code reviews to keep the codebase scalable maintainable and correct
- Work closely with product management architecture and adjacent engineering teams
- Provide technical guidance and contribute hands-on to the hardest problems
Experience and skills you will need:
- 5 years building and shipping software products
- 3 years in a technical leadership role with responsibility for both projects and people
- Deep expertise in highly available distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
- Solid knowledge of Go Docker and Kubernetes plus hands-on experience with IaaS technologies (e.g. OpenStack virtualization SDN storage systems)
- Experience designing building and operating cloud services
- Servant-leader mindset focused on growing the people on your team
- Comfortable in complex fast-moving environments with competing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent English
