Our client is a leading international organization providing audit tax and advisory services part of a global network with a presence in more than 140 countries. The company works with some of the worlds largest businesses and institutions supporting organizations in risk management financial transformation regulatory compliance and sustainability. It is recognized for its high professional standards innovative approach and strong focus on digitalization and talent development. On their behalf we are currently looking for a Senior Azure Platform and Cloud Enablement Engineer to join their team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain and continuously enhance the Azure cloud platform in alignment with information security requirements and cloud governance standards
  • Design Implement and manage Azure Policies governance controls and compliance guardrails across subscriptions and environments
  • Design and operate Azure networking architectures including VNets peering routing and hybrid connectivity patterns
  • Implement secure private connectivity solutions such as Private Endpoints Private Link VPN and ExpressRoute
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform Bicep or ARM templates including reusable infrastructure modules and templates
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) to automate platform provisioning configuration and deployments
  • Design and implement identity and access management solutions including RBAC models managed identities and governance guardrails
  • Enforce platform security and compliance standards across cloud environments
  • Active involvement in the low-level design and delivery of cloud application landing zone as well in the post configuration of the data plane in alignment with developers AI engineers and data engineers
  • Support multiple technical domains through authentication identity networking and data-plane integrations
  • Integrate Azure platform services with Microsoft ecosystems such as Microsoft Fabric Power BI and Azure Databricks (advantageous)
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing and engineering best practices within the team

What you bring in:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services (App Services FunctionApp Vnets Private Endpoints AI Foundry SQL Database Cosmos DB. Fabric and Databricks are strong advantage)
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking including Hub-Spoke architecture Virtual Networks NSG UDR
  • Understanding of Entra ID authentication and authorization concept
  • Understanding of Azure Security and Compliance framework
  • Understanding of Azure Policy
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines MS ARM and bicep templates. Infrastructure as a Code deployment
  • MS Azure Certification (AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose cloud infrastructure issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and collaborate with international teams
  • Fluent in English

  • Experience with Terraform and Bicep
  • Experience with Databricks Fabric AI Foundry
  • Experience with application migrations to the cloud.

- InfrastructureasCode created and applied directly to Azure environments.

- Strong understanding of Azure networking and identity configuration (for example VNets RBAC or application registrations EntraID authentication and authorization).

- Experience with Zero Trust and security principles and Azure Well Architecture Framework and provisioning of Landing zones.

For the role of Azure Architect we are looking for:

- Strong Azure platform and infrastructure configuration hands-on experience (such as networking identity and access management EntraID and private connectivity)

- experience with Azure Security and Governance concepts and tools such as Zero Trust Azure Policies RBAC.

- In-dept knowledge of Well-Architecture framework and Landing zones.

- Solution design and architecture for Azure PaaS (including Azure SQL Database Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks) and IaaS services.

The candidate technical background and experience does not align with the technical requirements for the Azure Architect role.

Димитър Велиновски -Cloud Enablement - The candidate work experience does not include in-dept hands-on experience with the core competencies required for Senior Azure Platform and Cloud Enablement engineer role.

The Azure Architect role requires demonstrated handson experience in Azure Cloud areas such as:

- Deployment and configuration of Azure PaaS services (Azure Databricks Azure Data Factory Azure App Service - Web Apps Function Apps) Azure Foundry (Azure OpenAI) and other AI services Microsoft Fabric.
- InfrastructureasCode created and applied directly to Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking and identity configuration (for example VNets UDRs Azure Application Gateways and WAF).
- Strong understanding of identity configuration (RBAC or application registrations EntraID authentication and authorization).
- Experience with Zero Trust and security principles and Azure Well Architecture Framework and provisioning and support of Landing zones.

Although the candidate has DevOps AKS and Terraform technical experience he does not meet the requirements for Senior Azure Platform and Cloud Enablement engineer role.
