Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Director for our international client in the FMCG industry in Bulgaria. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth developing commercial strategies and leading the sales organization to achieve ambitious business objectives.

THE JOB

• Developing and implementing the overall sales strategy in line with the companys business objectives.
• Driving revenue growth market share profitability and sustainable business development across Bulgaria.
• Leading managing and motivating the sales organization ensuring high performance and achievement of commercial targets.
• Managing key customers distributors and strategic business partners and building long-term relationships.
• Identifying new business opportunities market trends and areas for expansion.
• Developing and managing sales budgets forecasts targets and performance KPIs.
• Working closely with Marketing Finance Supply Chain and other functions to ensure effective execution of commercial plans.
• Monitoring market developments competitor activities pricing and distribution trends.
• Ensuring strong execution of sales plans across relevant channels and customers.
• Coaching and developing the sales team fostering a performance-driven and customer-focused culture.
• Reporting sales performance market developments and strategic recommendations to senior management.

THE PERSON

• University degree in Business Economics Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 810 years of professional experience in sales preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record in a senior sales leadership or commercial management position.
• Strong understanding of the Bulgarian FMCG market including retail modern trade traditional trade and/or distributor channels.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales growth developing markets and managing commercial performance.
• Proven experience leading developing and motivating sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation communication and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset high energy and strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent command of Bulgarian and English both written and spoken.
