Thermo Fisher Scientific Language Services is looking for aQuality Check (QC) Coordinatorwith experience intranslation project managementto join thein-houseLanguage ManagementTeam.
Asa QCCoordinator you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality andtimelydelivery of our translation fast-paced position requires exceptional organizational skills the ability to manage multiple tasks and effective communication with various stakeholders. You must be proactive and capable of working under pressure to meet tightQCdeadlineswhile keeping a streamlinedprocess.
Essential functions would include:
Coordinatingand assigningQC requests to in-house or external linguists covering various languages and countries and ensuringassignments meet required deadlines.
Trackingthe progress of freelance QC projects tomaintainquality delivery schedules and budget adherence.
Managingdaily communication with QC clientsregardingproject status tomaintainhigh satisfaction levels.
Fosteringstrong connections with the internal Language Specialist Team and clinical study teams to promote customerdelight.
Ensuringaccurateand consistent recording of QC data for effective business analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Completingall QC project-related administrative and financial processes.
Providingsupport to the Translation Project Management Team.
Applicants should meet one ofthe beloweducational/professional requirements:
Bachelorsdegree in Translation Linguistics or Language Studies from a recognized institution.
ORBachelorsdegree in another field and 2 years of full-time translation coordination or project management experience (preferably in the localization/translation industry).
OR 5 years of full-time translation coordination or project management experience (preferably in the localization/translation industry) ifnoBachelorsdegree.
Preferred KnowledgeSkillsand Abilities:
Experience managing localized deliverables.
Proficiencywith CAT/TMS tools.
Provenmulti-tasking time management organizationskills and attention to detail.
Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strongproficiencyin MS Office Suite especially Excel.
Power BI and/or Power Automate experience preferred.
