Head of Product

The business is seeking a highly technical Head of Product to lead its product team strengthen day-to-day delivery and help shape the next generation of its proprietary sportsbook platform.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working closely with developers engineering leaders research and development teams trading specialists operators and commercial stakeholders.

The opportunity

You will lead the product function and establish a faster more disciplined and AI-assisted product operating model.

The role is based in Sofia so the Head of Product can work directly alongside business engineering and research and development teams. This is not a remote appointment.

You will evaluate the existing platform identify the capabilities required to compete at the highest level and translate operator and market requirements into a focused commercially credible roadmap.

Key responsibilities

* Lead structure and develop the product team.

* Own the day-to-day product-development and delivery process.

* Establish a faster and more effective working model between product engineering and research and development.

* Introduce practical AI-assisted methods across product discovery analysis specification and delivery.

* Extend and optimise the companys proprietary sportsbook platform.

* Shape product strategy across backend services APIs live betting bet builder cash-out personalisation and settlement capabilities.

* Conduct a structured capability audit against leading international sportsbook-platform expectations.

* Translate the audit into a prioritised and commercially relevant roadmap.

* Work directly with operators trading commercial teams and engineering leaders to identify meaningful product needs.

* Turn complex technical and commercial requirements into clear product priorities.

* Ensure new platform and API releases are adopted and deliver measurable value.

* Represent the product organisation in senior internal and external discussions.

* Improve product governance accountability and delivery visibility.

* Build a strong product culture that combines customer understanding commercial judgement and technical depth.

* Recruit coach and retain high-quality product talent.

* A comprehensive platform capability audit is completed during the first quarter.

Experience and capabilities

* Senior product leadership experience in a technically complex B2B environment.

* Proven ability to work directly and credibly with developers and engineering teams.

* Experience building or restructuring product teams and delivery processes.

* Strong understanding of APIs platforms integrations and backend product capabilities.

* Experience translating operator or enterprise-client requirements into scalable products.

* Commercial confidence and experience working with customers or operators.

* A practical AI-first perspective on modern product management and delivery.

* Strong prioritisation leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

* Sportsbook betting or iGaming platform experience is highly desirable although exceptional candidates from comparable technical product environments may be considered.

* Comfortable working in Sofia and leading alongside the core development organisation.

Package

This is a senior international leadership appointment. The package is open and will reflect the successful candidates experience. Equity participation may form part of the overall offer.
