Hybrid: This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu)

The Risk Management Specialist will play a strategic role within GMSA Treasury supporting risk monitoring and mitigation across South America with a strong focus on Argentina.

This position is designed for a professional capable of connecting market intelligence financial analysis and business judgment to support decision-making in highly volatile and complex environments. The role requires close monitoring of macroeconomic financial and regulatory conditions ensuring proactive risk identification and mitigation.

The position also supports Auto Finance initiatives including securitization and structured financial solutions while providing cross-functional treasury support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor macroeconomic and financial conditions (FX inflation interest rates regulatory changes) across LATAM translating them into risk implications and actionable insights
  • Identify assess and support mitigation of financial liquidity and operational risks with emphasis on Argentina market dynamics
  • Support scenario analysis and decision-making in volatile environments
  • Partner with financial institutions (banks brokers) and internal stakeholders on risk and funding strategies
  • Support Auto Finance initiatives including securitization and structured financial solutions
  • Develop and maintain reports dashboards and analytical tools for risk visibility and governance
  • Act cross-functionally to support treasury finance and commercial teams

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Engineering or related fields
  • Solid experience in Treasury Risk Management Financial Markets or Banking
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with autonomy in dynamic and complex environments
  • Advanced English (mandatory LATAM/global reporting)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in LATAM markets particularly Argentina
  • Knowledge of financial instruments securitization and structured finance
  • Experience with Auto Finance
  • Familiarity with SAP advanced Excel and data/automation tools
  • Spanish (intermediate to advanced)
