Sr. Staff Aerospace Software Verification Engineer

What youll do:
- Develop maintain and optimize software processes and work instructions supporting compliance with aerospace regulatory standards (DO-178C / DO-331) and Safety of Flight (SOF) requirements with focus on the following verification processes: hardware/software integration tests software integration tests low-level tests structural coverage analysis control and data coupling worst-case execution time memory analysis etc.
- Define the tool usage strategy and manage generation of the Tool Qualification process (per DO-330); generate and archive qualification records for all Archer Programs.
- Drive the standard application of compliant software processes and tools across all Archer Software Teams with focus on software verification.
- Ensure organizational excellence for software verification processes through continuous training and mentorship across teams.
- Support Archer SW Teams in the preparation of software data life cycle artifacts and compliance reviews with Certification Authorities.
What you need:
- 15 years of experience in software development/verification and process definition for aerospace standards.
- At least a BS in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with full lifecycle safety critical software complying with design assurance standards like DO-178C and supplements.
- Experience with aerospace software verification such as: hardware/software integration tests software integration tests and low-level tests.
- Experience with aerospace software analysis such as: structural coverage control and data coupling worst-case execution time and memory analysis.
- Experience with Tool Qualification following DO-330.
- Experience with Model Based Development and Verification following DO-331.
- Experience with multiple software environments and tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in fast-paced demanding work environments.
- Experience with agile/lean methodologies.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with ARP4754A and DO-254.
- Experience with Cybersecurity.
- Experience with System and Software developments for an aircraft OEM.
- Experience with Certification Compliance Reviews.
- Familiarity with Archer CM Tools e.g. Polarion Collaborator Git/Bitbucket TeamCity Jira and Teamcenter.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Companys business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between BRL 385000 - BRL 481000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge skills and experience.
