Sourcing Leader Latam

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities materials or services
• Identify evaluate and select suppliers based on cost quality delivery and performance
• Lead RFQs RFPs bid evaluations negotiations and contract discussions
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance metrics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand demand and sourcing needs
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies procedures and company standards
• Analyze market trends pricing and supply risks to support sourcing decisions
• Drive cost reduction value improvement and supply chain optimization initiatives
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality delivery or commercial terms
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities contracts and purchasing data

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or related field preferred
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
• Proven experience in sourcing procurement or buying roles
• Proven experience in development of international suppliers specially in Asia
• Strong negotiation analytical and relationship management skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes contracts and supplier management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience with strategic sourcing and category management
• Familiarity with Lean supply chain or cost-saving initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in manufacturing industrial or technical environments
