Youll partner with a global cross-functional team spanning research product and engineering and youll occasionally supportConcurexperiences where the TripIt andConcurjourneys connect. With strong interaction design craft and systems thinking youll connect the dots across touchpoints to deliver end-to-end experiences rooted in real user needs.
Responsibilities
Lead designacrosstheproductlifecycleforTripItpartneringwithresearchproductmanagement andengineeringtoplaniterate andship.
Influencetheproductroadmapandraisethebarfordesignqualitybyadvocatingforimprovementstoourexistingexperiences.
Translatecustomerneedsintoclearflowsinformationarchitecture andlow-to-highfidelitydesignsandprototypes(mobile and web).
CollaboratewithDesign Systems andAccessibilitypartnerstodeliverconsistent inclusiveexperiencesandevolvethesystemwhenneeded.
Balancetheidealuserexperiencewithsystemrealitiesbyunderstandingproductconstraintsconfigurations andtechnicaltradeoffs.
BuildfluencyacrossTripItsproductareastoensurethoughtfulend-to-endjourneysthatmayextendbeyondyourimmediatescope.
Usedataandcustomerinsightstoinformdecisionsevaluateoutcomes andchampionacultureofevidence-baseddesign.
Staycurrenton UX andtravel-industrytrendssharingwhatyoulearntohelptheteamanticipatewhatsnext.
Requirements
Portfolio is required for consideration
Solid proven experience in User Experience Design
Bachelor orMasters degree in Human ComputerInteraction Industrial Design Psychology Computer Science or otherequivalent experience
Experience designing and prototyping in Figma
Demonstrated ability designing complex experiences
Stronginteractiondesignskills:identifyinguserstoriescreatinguserflows andproducinglow-to-highfidelitydesigns
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
Experiencebuilding products for native iOS and Android platforms
Preferred
Experience designing AI-powered features and workflows including comfort collaborating with data science/ML partners
FamiliaritywithprototypingandevaluatingAIinteractions(promptingconversationdesign human-in-the-looppatterns) andapplyingresponsibleAIprinciples(privacybiasexplainability)toUXdecisions
Demonstrated expertise in travel-related design
Experience in a fast-paced software development environment with an ability to execute against aggressive timelines
Excellent communication skills. Team player who seeks solutions to problems and can quickly translate ambiguity to clarity and action
Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and ability to adhere to them in your deliverables
Demonstrated ability to drive designs that achieve business results
Experience mentoring leading and recruiting UX designers
Proficiency working with designers and product teams across the globe
