Senior Procurement Manager , Site Procurement Operation
Job Summary
As a Regional Procurement Manager you will lead a team of 5 Site Procurement Managers (SPMs) across multiple fulfillment centers in Brazil. Youll be responsible for standardizing procurement processes across sites driving best practices from one building to another and leading strategic negotiations for services and supplies. This is a high-impact leadership role that connects local execution with global procurement strategy.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead & Develop a Team: Manage coach and develop 5 SPMs ensuring consistent performance and professional growth across the network
- Standardize Across Sites: Identify gaps and opportunities between buildings implementing unified processes and playbooks that elevate the entire network
- Lead Strategic Negotiations: Own negotiations for key services supplies and contracts (MRO facilities services safety equipment office supplies and more)
- Own Metrics & Performance: Develop and utilize KPIs to measure operational readiness supplier performance and cost efficiency across the region
- Manage Contracts & Compliance: Administer local and national contracts ensure contract compliance for key spend categories and resolve payment issues with vendors and accounts payable
- Control Costs: Help manage fixed costs and develop plans to achieve annual savings targets on both fixed and supply costs
- Budget Management: Partner closely with Finance on budget planning tracking and forecasting ensuring procurement spend is aligned with site and regional financial targets
- Manage Procure-to-Pay: Monitor the full P2P cycle
- Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
- Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships
- Experience in communication and presentation skills both written and verbal in Portuguese & English
- Supply chain management experience (logistics procurement or operations)
- Direct management experience
- Experience in managerial capacity in a fulfillment center/distribution center environment of hourly and salaried employees
- MBA or Bachelors degree in supply chain management operations engineering analytics or related field
- Experience with budgeting scheduling and cost reports
- Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
