This professional is responsible for aligning plant with global category strategy negotiating with local suppliers conducting local market analysis and executing and aligning local supplier with global category procurement strategies that ensure quality cost-effectiveness and supply successful candidate will lead supplier negotiations conduct market analysis identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strong supplier relationships to ensure quality cost-effectiveness and uninterrupted supply. The Direct Buyer will collaborate closely with Operations Supply Chain Finance and other stakeholders to support procurement excellence and business ResponsibilitiesExecute Global Category Strategies for plant requirements. Adopt preferred vendor in global categories to align with Global the entire purchasing process from identifying requirementsthrough PO execution and invoice and select suppliers local based on quality pricing delivery lead times payment terms and other commercial and maintainstrategic relationships with local suppliers seeking continuous improvements in commercial conditions and the quality of materials and market conditions and pricing trends to identify cost-reduction opportunities and improvements across the supply that purchased materials and supplies meet the technical and quality specifications required for printing with Production and Planning teams to align purchasing activities with production requirements and business performance reports and cost analyses providing recommendations to senior and monitor purchasing policies and procedures ensuring compliance with company guidelines and internal QualificationsBachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Procurement Engineering Finance or a related 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience preferably within a manufacturing packaging printing or industrial proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Skills & KnowledgeExperience with procurement processes sourcing strategies and supplier of cost analysis contract management and purchasing best to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced communication and relationship-building working in a global or matrix organization is ExperienceProtheus TOTVSLanguage RequirementsAdvanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is requiredPhysical RequirementsThis role is primarily office-based or home office-based requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use.
