Senior Cost & Budget Analyst – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Position Summary

The Sr. Cost & Budget Analyst is responsible for providing specialized analytical support in budgeting and cost management activities with a focus on financial planning monitoring cost control and efficiency improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop monitor and manage annual budgets to support business objectives.
• Prepare and update financial forecasts ensuring alignment with operational and strategic plans.
• Perform detailed cost analysis and control identifying risks and optimization opportunities.
• Analyze budget versus actual variances and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop cost projections and assess financial trends to support decision-making.
• Monitor and report key cost and budget performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support financial planning activities through budget tracking and performance analysis.
• Drive cost-efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities across the business.

Minimum Qualifications Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field;
• Proven experience in cost analysis budgeting forecasting and financial planning;
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI;
• Experience with ERP systems preferably TOTVS Protheus;
• Advanced English proficiency both written and spoken;
• Strong analytical skills and experience preparing executive reports and financial insights;
• Ability to work independently handle confidential information and interact directly with the CFO and senior leadership;
• Excellent communication organizational and stakeholder management skills;
• MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance Controllership or a related field is desirable.
