Overview:

Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant responsible for end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes with a focus on management accounting cost control and profitability analysis in SAP S/ role will play a critical part in designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA Controlling solutions to support business decision-making financial transparency and operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA Controlling deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures and a proven track record in delivering successful SAP implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design and Architecture
• Lead the design of SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) solutions aligned with business and financial objectives
• Architect end-to-end R2R processes focusing on:
• Cost Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing (standard and actual costing)
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Define cost allocation structures and financial modeling for manufacturing operations
• Ensure alignment between FI and CO for accurate financial and management reporting

Implementation and Configuration

Support integration with:

• Production Planning (PP)
• Materials Management (MM)
• Sales and Distribution (SD)
• Implement costing strategies for manufactured goods including variance analysis
• Enable real-time reporting leveraging S/4HANA capabilities (e.g. Universal Journal integration)

Project Management & Delivery

• Collaborate with project managers to define scope timelines and deliverables for CO workstreams
• Lead workshops with finance and operations stakeholders
• Ensure successful delivery across all project phases: design build test deploy and hypercare
• Support data migration testing (unit integration UAT) and go-live activities

Collaboration and Communication

• Act as a key liaison between Finance Operations and IT teams
• Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and vice versa
• Drive alignment between financial controlling and manufacturing processes
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users

Performance Optimization:

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve cost transparency and control Optimize profitability analysis and margin reporting
• Enhance financial planning and forecasting capabilities
• Leverage S/4HANA in-memory capabilities for real-time insights and analytics

Key Skills:

Strong experience with:

• Product Costing (mandatory)
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Integration knowledge with FI PP MM and SD
• Understanding of manufacturing cost structures and processes
• S/4HANA knowledge (Universal Journal Fiori reporting)

Soft Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication
• Ability to lead workshops and influence business decisions
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Cross-functional integration mindset

Essential Skills:

• Language: Fluent English (mandatory - business technical communication)
• SAP Background: Strong experience in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA

Industry Experience:

• Manufacturing (REQUIRED)
• Automotive (strong plus)
• Project Experience: At least 1-2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
• Proven ability to work in complex global transformation programs
