Position Overview
The Sales Administrator supports the sales team by managing administrative tasks maintaining customer data coordinating sales processes and ensuring smooth operational workflows. This role plays a critical part in improving sales efficiency and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with preparing quotations proposals and contracts
- Process orders track shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions in CRM systems
- Coordinate with internal teams (finance logistics marketing) to support sales activities
Data & Reporting
- Generate regular sales reports dashboards and performance metrics
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and support decision-making
- Maintain and update product pricing customer records and sales databases
Customer Service
- Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and order status updates
- Handle customer issues and escalate when necessary
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely responses
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and administrative workflows
- Support implementation of new tools systems or technologies
AI & Technology (Preferred)
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and tools
- Experience using AI-powered tools for sales analytics forecasting or customer insights is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM platforms with AI capabilities (e.g. Dynamics 365 Salesforce Einstein)
- Ability to leverage automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or related field (preferred)
Experience
- 25 years of experience in sales administration or support roles
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales tools
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of AI-driven sales tools and automation platforms
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI Excel advanced)
