Accountability Statement

This role is accountable for providing health safety environment and security (HSES) supportincluding process safety management (PSM)to facilities in their region. The regional manager will provide direct support to the Lubrizol facilities located in Central South America and some smaller sites in the USA. The regional manager is also responsible for providing direct support to assure ongoing safe operations in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and corporate policies and standards while striving for continuous improvement and industry best-practices in support of One Lubrizol.

Key Accountabilities

• Educational degree in Engineering Safety or a related field.
• Minimumof 5-10years of experience in HSES chemical plant site management process safety engineering or a related area.
• Must have knowledge of HSES regulations and industry standards.
• Experience in a chemical or petrochemical company.
• Remote work experience and regional management experience are strong pluses.
• Strong organizational and influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to work successfully with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
