Descrição do cargo:

Homologation & Regulatory Compliance (Primary Focus)

• Lead powertrain-related homologation activities for vehicle certification in target markets (e.g. PROCONVE Euro EPA).
• Define and manage the homologation test plan including Emissions OBD fuel economy and evaporative emissions (SHED).
• Act as the main interface with the Homologation team ensuring alignment on certification strategy documentation and timelines.
• Ensure all required technical documentation and test reports are prepared validated and submitted on time.
• Coordinate execution of regulatory tests (FTP75 WLTP RDE etc.) with test facilities and labs.
• Track regulatory changes and ensure early compliance integration into development activities.
• Support certification audits and respond to regulatory inquiries when required.

Frontline for Engine Calibration for Homologation

• Support the coordinate calibration activities to achieve emissions OBD fuel economy and drivability targets with other Nissan teams and suppliers.
• Support calibration freeze milestones aligned with homologation timing.
• Support validation of NMOG/NMHC NOx CO particulate emissions and other regulated parameters.

Test & Validation Coordination

• Define and execute validation plans supporting homologation readiness.
• Ensure availability of representative hardware and software configurations for certification tests.
• Coordinate pre-homologation validation tests to reduce certification risks.
• Monitor test results and ensure quick issue escalation and resolution.

Cross-functional Integration

• Coordinate closely with Design Calibration Test DCC and Homologation teams.
• Align powertrain changes (TdC / VO) with homologation impact assessments.
• Lead technical discussions to ensure configuration control and traceability of certified vehicles.

Project Management

• Develop and track homologation-related timelines and milestones.
• Identify risks to certification and implement mitigation plans proactively.
• Provide clear reporting to management on homologation status and readiness.

Supplier & External Interface

• Coordinate with external laboratories certification bodies and engineering partners.
• Ensure third-party deliverables (tests reports calibration support) meet regulatory and project requirements.

Necessário:

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of combustion engines powertrain systems and vehicle calibration principles (emissions drivability performance).
• Strong experience in powertrain testing calibration or vehicle homologation.
  • Emissions regulations (PROCONVE WLTP EPA Euro)
  • Certification test cycles (FTP75 WLTP RDE SHED)
  • OBD regulations and validation
• Experience with diagnostic tools (Consult DDT2000/ConX CAN tools etc.).
• Familiarity with powertrain development tools (ETAS INCA Vector CANalyzer/CANape AVL tools or equivalent).
• Ability to analyze large datasets from test benches chassis dyno or onroad logging.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and stakeholdermanagement abilities.
• Proactive hands-on mindset able to operate independently in a resident role.
• Strong problem-solving analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and international environments.

Experience:

• Long term proven in powertrain development/testing/calibration environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with OEMs suppliers or development centers.
• Understanding of local Brazilian fuel characteristics and regional market conditions.
• Experience with emission testing (WLTC FTP RDE) and data postprocessing.
• Knowledge of simulation tools (GTPower Matlab/Simulink) is a plus.
• Fluent English; Spanish or French is a differential.

• Duration / 1week to 3 months.

• Location / Domestic or international.

• Request / depend on project requirement (same time urgent).
