Job Summary

The Institutional Equity Division (IED) is a global leader in the origination distribution and trading of equity equity-linked and equity-derivative securities. The Opportunity

As a Quantitative Developer you will work at the intersection of technology quantitative research and trading. You will be responsible for designing and building robust high-performance systems that support research pricing and live trading activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Solving complex technical and quantitative problems including the development of high-performance trading applications optimization frameworks and risk management systems.

  • Partnering closely with quantitative researchers and traders to understand business models and revenue drivers.

  • Enhancing pricing and trading models and automating the end-to-end pipeline from research to production.

  • Contributing to the design scalability and reliability of systematic trading platforms used in live market environments.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical quantitative and problem-solving skills with a passion for building efficient and scalable software solutions for research and systematic trading.

  • Proficiency in C and/or Java with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

  • Experience with distributed systems low-latency trading platforms system design optimization and networking.

  • Knowledge of exchange connectivity and order management systems; familiarity with execution and/or market-making algorithms is highly desirable.

  • Exposure to KDB and/or Python is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with portfolio optimization techniques and numerical libraries is an advantage.
