Production Executive, Amazon MGM Studios, Brazil

Shape the future of entertainment by overseeing scripted series unscripted and movie productions from concept through delivery at Amazon Studios. Youll collaborate with creative teams production partners and internal departments to bring innovative content to millions of viewers across 240 countries solving complex production challenges while managing budgets schedules and logistics on a global scale.

Key job responsibilities
Oversee all phases of scripted series unscripted and movie productions including development production and post-production ensuring projects meet creative and business objectives
Lead production management for scripted series as the primary genre focus including script-to-screen workflows episodic scheduling and series-specific budget oversight
Manage budget reviews cost reports and production meetings with producers production managers and creative stakeholders to maintain financial accountability across all genres
Coordinate with internal departments and external production partners on production safety security insurance labor compliance immigration visa travel and tax matters
Travel to production sets as needed to evaluate workflow assess budget performance and resolve operational challenges
Collaborate with post-production teams to ensure timely delivery of all required assets and materials
Coordinate with other internal departments such as creative marketing press business affairs legal finance and tax


A day in the life
As a Production Executive youll be at the center of our content operations managing multiple projects simultaneously across scripted series unscripted formats and feature films with a primary focus on scripted series production. Your day might include reviewing budget reports and cost analyses with producers and production managers coordinating with our creative and business affairs teams on production logistics or traveling to set to assess workflow and address emerging challenges.
Youll work closely with production companies and internal departments to navigate production safety labor regulations immigration requirements and insurance matters. Whether youre overseeing a scripted series writers room-to-delivery pipeline troubleshooting on-set issues for an unscripted show ensuring a films post-production assets meet delivery requirements or collaborating across teams on scheduling and clearance matters youll be instrumental in keeping our productions on track and within scope.

- 6 years of producer production manager or line producer experience
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience using English communication skills both written and verbal to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience managing production budgets cost reports and episodic scheduling for scripted series including script breakdowns and series-level financial oversight
- International production experience including coordination of production safety labor compliance immigration visa and travel logistics across territories

- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Knowledge of video production crews live streaming technologies studio workflows edit and post- production techniques production calendars and staffing
- Experience working with third party contractual relationships (record labels publishers)
- Experience mentoring and developing production team members while driving adoption of best practices and studio policies across projects
- Familiarity with digital media workflows post-production systems and show clearance and credits processes
