PL Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Job Summary
Reports to: Regulatory & Management Systems Manager
- Candidates must be currently residing in Brazil and legally authorized to work in Brazil
- Fluent English and Portuguese is required.
The PL Regulatory Compliance Analyst supports the Regulatory & Management Systems Manager in day-to-day regulatory compliance activities. The role ensures effective management of regulatory requirements audits inspections and communications with Authorities while supporting onshore and offshore teams. The position also contributes to continuous improvement risk reduction and compliance assurance.
- Support regulatory compliance and regulatory affairs activities in coordination with internal specialists and engineers
- Assist in planning execution and follow-up of internal audits (SGSO SGSS SGIP ISM Code) and external ISM audits
- Support audits and inspections by Authorities (e.g. ANP MTE) including offshore and onshore facilitation
- Review and analyse regulatory requests and official correspondence from Authorities
- Coordinate timely and complete responses with internal stakeholders
- Track deadlines for regulatory obligations and submissions
- Maintain accurate records of regulatory correspondence audits non-conformities and action plans
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and development of corrective and preventive actions
- Monitor closure and effectiveness of action plans
- Support legal and regulatory compliance checks and gap assessments
- Assist with inspections findings and follow-up actions
- Contribute to process and procedure improvements within regulatory compliance systems
- Promote lessons learned best practices and regulatory updates across teams
- Internal: Regulatory & Management Systems HSE Assets Subsea Projects Subsurface Offshore teams
- External: Contractors and regulatory authorities (as required)

- Higher education (Engineering preferred)
- Postgraduate qualification in Regulatory Management Systems Process Safety or Oil & Gas (advantageous)
- 3 years experience (5 preferred) in Oil & Gas operators or service companies
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian regulatory framework (ANP MTE)
- Experience with audit processes non-conformities RCA and CAPA management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; data analysis skills are a plus
- Languages: Portuguese (native) English (intermediate to fluent preferred)
