Title: Mid-Level Structural Analysis Engineer - Indaiatuba/SP- 124313
- Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Understanding and application of the Finite Element Method.
- Technical experience related to structural analysis of components.
- Product engineering experience focused on structures.
- Experience with product engineering tools systems and databases.
- Experience with Altair Suite ANSYS Abaqus or other FEA software.
- Knowledge on correlation processes between physical test and virtual analysis.
- Strong English communications skills (written and spoken).
- Close communication with Design and PV&V Engineers to develop and execute analysis and/or test plans for Product Verification and Validation.
- Plans and executes Agricultural products virtual structural verification activities.
- Produces and/or evaluates possible design solutions for Agricultural products to improve cost quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications. This may include possible involvement of other functional engineers supply management and/or supplier personnel.
- Compiles and furnishes necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to share results and concussions and further documentation of the assigned activities.
- Applies knowledge of company products policies and best practices to drive the improvement and standardization of virtual verification practices for Agricultural products.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to less experienced engineers within the team.
- Experience with John Deere product engineering tools systems and databases.
- Agricultural products knowledge.
- Skills using finite element software to solve problems in Agricultural applications.
- Knowledge of enterprise new product introduction processes (EPDP CI TDP etc).
- Proven strong collaboration with multidisciplinary product engineering teams.
- Proven mentoring skills to colleagues or to the less experienced.
- Knowledge on PV&V testing and instrumentation.
- Masters Degree in Structural Mechanics or similar.
