Main responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mechanical components systems and industrial equipment using advanced 2D/3D engineering tools.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including engineering calculations specifications and datasheets aligned with project requirements.
• Define technical solutions materials and configurations in compliance with customer needs and applicable standards (ASME BPVC Sections I II VIII; ASME B31.3 NR12 NR13 and ABNT).
• Review vendor drawings technical documentation and specifications to ensure quality compliance and alignment with project requirements.
• Support procurement activities by performing technical evaluations interacting with suppliers and clarifying engineering requirements.
• Oversee fabrication processes and perform shop inspections especially for pressure vessels and related equipment.
• Participate in technical reviews and cross-functional meetings to ensure proper project execution and alignment between teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization initiatives within the engineering area.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Strong experience with CAD tools (2D/3D).
• Proven experience with static and rotating equipment (vessels tanks agitators pumps expansion joints compensators and piping systems).
• Solid knowledge of engineering design fabrication processes and applicable technical standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
