Job Summary
Intern Communications LatAm
Corporate Communications is currently seeking an Intern based out of our São Paulo office.
The Corporate Communications team is looking to fill an Intern position to support media activities throughout Latin America region. The Fitch Group Corporate Communications team is responsible for helping to protect and advance the firms reputation through the promotion of Fitchs research ratings and thought leadership. The intern will have exposure to multiple countries in Latin America and will work closely with analysts marketing and global communications teams.

5 hour contract
Well Count on You To:
Assist in drafting media materials including press releases pitches and internal briefings documents (in English Portuguese and/or Spanish).
Support the planning and management of the social media calendar including coordinating creative and social media requests and arranging analyst quotes and interviews for specific campaigns events and media opportunities.
Support media monitoring efforts including daily news scans and summary reports on relevant coverage.
Maintain and update media lists and journalist databases.
Track media coverage and assist in preparing regular reporting on communications activities and results.
Help coordinate media inquiries outreach efforts and follow-ups with journalists.
Assist in identifying relevant news trends and potential media opportunities.
Assist with internal communications initiatives including drafting and distributing announcements supporting the internal promotion of key campaigns and events and helping ensure messaging is aligned across teams.
Support website content reviews and recommend improvements as well as review event agendas webpages eBooks and other marketing materials to ensure quality accuracy and consistency.
Provide logistical support for media engagements interviews and events (virtual or in-person).
Hybrid model candidate must be available to work in-office at least 3 days a week.
What You Need to Have:
Currently pursuing a degree in Communications Journalism Public Relations or related fields
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel)
What Would Make You Stand Out:
Previous internship or academic experience in communications PR media or content creation
Familiarity with media monitoring tools and social media platforms
Interest in financial markets economics or business news
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
