FX Operations Analyst
Job Summary
Role Responsibilities
This role ensures that all FX transactions requiring supporting documentation are properly validated recorded and processed in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. You will also play a key role in monitoring transactions ensuring compliance and supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze and classify FX transactions based on their nature and regulatory requirements.
Review and validate supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable FX regulations and internal policies.
Execute and register FX transactions accurately and in a timely manner within internal systems.
Ensure adherence to compliance standards internal controls and audit requirements.
Support FX business operations particularly transactions that require documented justification according to regulatory guidelines.
Monitor and track transactions to ensure proper processing identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Prepare reports and maintain proper documentation to support regulatory and internal reporting needs.
Provide support to internal stakeholders (e.g. Front Office Compliance Finance) and respond to external inquiries when needed.
Assist in maintaining a strong control environment and contribute to process improvements within FX back-office operations.
Role Requirements
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance Economics or equivalent work experience.
24 years of experience in financial accounting FX operations or back-office financial roles.
Basic understanding of foreign exchange (FX) transactions and financial operations.
Familiarity with documentation requirements and regulatory frameworks related to FX transactions is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Intermediate English level is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems/tools.
Strong sense of accountability organization and compliance mindset.
Work Shift
