Our Client is looking for a highly skilled Technical Functional Safety (FuSa) Engineer to play a critical role in shaping the safety backbone of next-generation automotive systems.
In this position you will be at the forefront of safety-critical software development ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 while enabling innovative reliable and intelligent mobility solutions. You will work across system hardware and software domains transforming safety requirements into robust real-world implementations.

Key Responsibilities
Software Safety Leadership (ISO 26262 Part 6):Verification & Validation Support: Own the creation and review of Software Safety Requirements and drive the definition of safety architectures and mechanisms that protect critical automotive functions.
End-to-End Safety Assurance: Ensure complete traceability from system safety requirements to software implementation while supporting rigorous verification and validation activities.
Verification & Validation Excellence: Guide unit integration and system-level testing from a safety perspective reviewing results and ensuring alignment with safety goals and ASIL requirements.
Safety Analysis & Risk Mitigation (Part 9): Perform FMEA/DFMEA and Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA) proactively identifying risks and strengthening system resilience.
Cross-Functional Safety Integration: Collaborate with system hardware and software teams to ensure safety is embedded at every stage of development from concept to release.
Technical Expertise Required
ISO 26262 Expertise: Strong experience with ISO 26262 Part 6 (Software Development) and working knowledge of Part 9 (Safety Analyses).
Safety Engineering Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Part 3 (HARA Safety Goals) and Part 4 (System-Level Development).
Automotive Embedded Systems: Proven experience in automotive embedded software development within safety-critical environments.
ASIL Development: Hands-on experience working in ASIL-based development projects.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong documentation skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with system hardware and software teams.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Electronics Computer Science or a related field.
