Engenheiro Calculista

Structural Design Engineering responsible for the development analysis and validation of structural calculation reports and engineering assessments for mining and bulk material handling equipment including belt conveyors stackers reclaimers transfer towers and supporting steel structures. A key aspect of the role is performing and reviewing detailed structural calculations to verify strength stability fatigue resistance and compliance with applicable design codes standards and project requirements.

The position involves conducting finite element analyses (FEA) structural and mechanical calculations dynamic assessments and machine stability evaluations. Responsibilities also include preparing comprehensive calculation reports technical specifications engineering documentation preambles and design criteria; supporting procurement activities through technical bid evaluations; and providing technical support during fabrication installation and commissioning.

Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams the Structural Design Engineer identifies and resolves technical challenges evaluates design alternatives and ensures that all structural solutions meet safety reliability operational and constructability requirements. The role may also require participation in technical meetings site visits field inspections and project execution activities at customer and construction sites.
