JOB SUMMARY

The Sr Product Industrial Designer will work on projects ranging from consumer lifestyle products to technology driven medical products as part of a world class design and innovation team. This role is a key player managing projects and helping to lead and mentor other designers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translates requirements needs and insights into compelling user experiences
Contribute design knowledge and experience to product development projects
Lead and participate in project teams form concept generation refinement and detailing
Give presentation and lead clients in key project milestones
Management and regular reporting of team activities (formal program management)
Recommends action plans for the continued professional growth and training of the designers
Assists with the establishment and maintenance of design department standards that ensure design excellence
Conceptualize ways of providing new and improved value to our customers
Manage research and design project budgets
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
