How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

The Business Development Sales (Biogas & Renewable Energy) will be responsible for driving sales growth for biomethane projects and solutions managing the entire pipeline from initial prospecting to deal closure. This role requires a hybrid profile: solid technical knowledge in renewable energy equipment and engineering solutions combined with exceptional consultative selling (B2B) skills. The main challenge is to translate technical complexities into clear value propositions for potential clients in the agricultural industrial and waste management sectors building long-term strategic partnerships in the biomethane renewable energy and natural gas markets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for biogas purification solutions focusing on small medium and large-sized customers.

  • Conduct technical and economic analysis of customer needs developing customized project proposals that include scope schedule and responsibilities.

  • Deliver technical and commercial presentations to clients engineers and senior stakeholders.

  • Negotiate contracts commercial and technological terms; Coordinate contracts and legal matters in conjunction with the Operations area.

  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure technical viability and successful project delivery.

  • Participate in trade shows conferences and industry events to expand the network and promote the companys solutions.

  • Stay updated on market trends regulations and government incentives related to biogas and renewable energy.

  • Actively participate in commercial meetings contributing to the continuous improvement of the sales process.

Do you have these requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Environmental Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in technical sales or project engineering preferably in the biogas water/wastewater treatment or renewable energy sector.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of equipment and project sales processes.

  • Knowledge in the segment or activities related to biomethane plants.

  • Desirable knowledge in biodigestion and sanitary landfills.

  • Ability to conduct preliminary dimensioning of solutions with the engineering team seeking the best point for greater competitiveness.

  • Proficiency in productivity software and CRM (Salesforce).

  • Desirable knowledge of methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or project management software (Advanced Excel MS Project AutoCAD Revit (BIM) SolidWorks or SketchUp).

  • Communication: Articulate complex technical information clearly and persuasively.

  • Closing and Objections: Ability to close high-value contracts and manage objections.

  • Market Vision: Identify trends and position solutions competitively.

  • Hands-on ability to work with an ownership mindset and as an internal facilitator and strategic partner for the client ensuring agile project execution.
