As a Wind Turbine Service Technician youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing wind turbines to ensure maximum availability and reliability. Youll work on a variety of electrical mechanical hydraulic and converter systems making every working day different.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines;
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical mechanical and hydraulic faults;
  • Supporting inspections troubleshooting and root cause analyses;
  • Completing service reports work orders and maintenance documentation;
  • Reporting incidents and completed work according to HSE procedures;
  • Following customer-specific procedures and site regulations;
  • Working safely in accordance with company and industry standards;
  • Collaborating closely with fellow technicians and support teams;
  • Participating in the on-call rotation including weekends and public holidays.

Were looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges works safely and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.

You have:

  • An MBO Level 3/4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical background;
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferably within wind energy or a comparable technical environment;
  • Experience working with low and high voltage installations;
  • BA4/BA5 NEN 3140 or NEN 3840 certification or the willingness to obtain these;
  • A good command of English;
  • A valid Category B driving licence;
  • Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office;
  • A practical proactive and solution-focused approach;
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality;
  • The physical ability to work at height;
  • Flexibility to travel between different wind farms;
  • Residence within approximately 40 km of Ghent or Brussels.
