We are looking for an experienced Web Application Developer to design develop maintain test and support secure and high-availability applications within a critical information system environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications across the full development lifecycle.
• Work on both backend web services and frontend applications.
• Analyse functional and technical requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Develop test document and support applications.
• Contribute to application security modernization and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to colleagues.

Required Skills

• PHP 5.6/7
• JavaScript AngularJS jQuery Ajax
• CodeIgniter and Smarty
• SQL
• REST Web Services
• Git and DevOps
• Experience with multi-user high-availability applications

Languages

• Native-level Dutch or French
• Working knowledge of English

Location & Contract

• Brussels Belgium
• Full-time 40 hours/week
• Start: 1 September 2026
• Contract until end of 2026 with possible extension
• Hybrid: minimum 2 days/week onsite
