Transformation Consultant (Project & Change Management)

Overview
This role is responsible for driving and supporting transformation initiatives within a highly regulated organisation focused on nuclear safety radioactive waste processing and decommissioning activities. The Transformation Consultant ensures that projects are delivered in line with strategic objectives regulatory requirements and operational constraints while enabling sustainable change across the organisation.

The role combines project leadership stakeholder management and change enablement to ensure successful delivery and adoption of new processes systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Plan organise and follow up on transformation projects within scope time budget and regulatory constraints
• Develop project plans studies technical analyses and conceptual solutions
• Monitor progress manage risks and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes
• Coordinate internal and external project teams and ensure efficient execution

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Act as key liaison between business stakeholders technical experts suppliers and governance bodies
• Facilitate alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution
• Report on progress risks financial status and project outcomes
• Escalate issues and ensure timely decision-making

Process & Technical Contribution

• Collaborate with experts to define and validate optimal technical and operational solutions
• Challenge and consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders into coherent solutions
• Support the development and improvement of procedures systems and operational standards
• Ensure compliance with legal regulatory and organisational requirements

Governance Procurement & Compliance

• Support or lead public procurement processes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
• Oversee supplier and contractor performance against contractual obligations
• Maintain complete and accurate project documentation and records
• Ensure adherence to safety quality and regulatory standards

Change Management & Adoption

• Integrate change management activities into project delivery
• Communicate changes clearly to stakeholders and end users
• Support training documentation and adoption activities
• Ensure sustainable embedding of new solutions within the organisation

Profile / Soft Skills

• Strong experience in project and transformation management
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in complex environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable execution plans
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and governance
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments is an advantage
• Proactive structured and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work autonomously while ensuring alignment with broader programmes

• Dutch: Native or bilingual proficiency
• French: Professional working proficiency
