Location: Brussels Belgium (Hybrid - 3 days on-site a week)

Job Description

• As a Telephony System Ing. & Telephony Technical Lead you will bring your expertise in telephony solutions (SIP networking software platforms MBG etc.) to both transformation initiatives and daily operations.

Your responsibilities include:
In a project context:

• Define and design telephony infrastructure solutions in close collaboration with infrastructure architects system designers system engineers and security officers
• Contribute to the evolution and modernization of the telephony platform ensuring scalability resilience and security
• Act as the technical reference for telephony-related projects and decisions

In an operational context:

• Ensure the stability performance and continuous availability of telephony services on a day-to-day basis
• Support system engineers during incident resolution providing expertise for troubleshooting and guiding root cause analysis
• Take ownership of problem management to prevent recurring incidents
• Proactively identify and drive continuous improvements and evolutions of the telephony environment
• You will play a key role in maintaining a reliable telephony service while driving its evolution to meet future business and technology needs.

Skills

• Demonstrable experience in coordinating a team in a development project // Demonstrable experience with coordinating a team in a development project - Must have
• Demonstrable experience as a technical lead in development projects // Proven experience as a technical lead in development projects - 5 Years Senior - Must have
• Fluent in either French or Dutch and a very good passive knowledge of the other language - Must have
• Fluent in English - both written and oral - Must have
• Involded the last 2 years in Telephony IP project - Must have
• Proven experience as Solution Designer - 7 Years (Minimum 5 Years) - Must have
• Proven experience networking firewall mgmt. - Must have
• Proven experience Networking Routing / switching IP Senior - Must have
• Proven experience with Telephony IP - 7 Years (Minimum 5 Years) - Must have
• Experience in Utility / Energy sector - Should have
• Demonstrable experience in technical design Should have
• Demonstrable experience in performing programming tasks smoothly: coding testing and debugging - Should have
• Proven experience Firewalling Checkpoint - Should have
• Proven experience with Installing / Configuring Mitel / Micolab - Should have
• Proven experience with Installing / Configuring Solidus - Should have
• Proven Experience with voice recording (Storavox ) - Should have

Context

• The Digital Business Solutions (DBS) department supports business operations by delivering robust scalable and continuously evolving information systems.
• Within DBS the IT Infrastructure unit is responsible for both the evolution and the day-to-day management of IT and OT infrastructures
• More specifically the IT Infrastructure unit: Leads the transformation and modernization of infrastructure solutions. Ensures the operation performance and availability of infrastructure platforms and workplace services
• The TechOps & Platform teams provide deep technical expertise and are organized into specialized squads each focusing on critical technology domains to secure and continuously enhance IT and OT environments:
  - Squad 1: Hypervisor Storage and Backup
  - Squad 2: Network VPN and Telephony
