Job Summary
NextLink is seeking a talented Technical Project Manager to join with one of our client project at BrusselsBelgium.They are undergoing a major digital and organisational transformation to modernise its operations improve efficiency and enhance services for citizens and field operations teams.
Led by the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) which reports directly to the Digital Transformation Officer this transformation ensures that digital initiatives align with the organisations strategic objectives. The DTO focuses on three core pillars: Information Technology Innovation and Data & Intelligence.
The transformation is delivered through five key areas:
- Strategy and Governance project intake programme management target operating models and legal considerations.
- Technology Foundations modernising infrastructure strengthening cybersecurity integrating data and stabilising core systems.
- Business Transformation improving administrative operational and citizen-facing services.
- Innovation adopting emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence.
- Governance and Change ensuring effective coordination and organisational change management.
A key initiative is the Database Modernisation and Migration Programme which will replace legacy mainframe environments with modern database platforms supporting critical business applications.
To support this programme we are seeking a Project Manager to join the newly established PMO. The successful candidate will develop and manage the migration roadmap coordinate cross-functional technical teams prioritise work manage risks and dependencies and ensure the successful delivery of business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Project: Define and drive a clear realistic roadmap for the overall programme.
- Set Priorities: Sequence work and allocate resources to focus on critical deliverables.
- Manage Risks: Identify assess and communicate key risks and mitigation plans to leadership.
- Coordinate Stakeholders: Manage dependencies across business and technical teams while supporting change management.
- Drive Governance: Facilitate decision-making and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
- Partner with Technical Teams: Work closely with delivery teams to resolve blockers and keep the project on track.

Managing Dependencies: Coordinate interactions across technical and business teams while facilitating change management by making goals tangible. Governance & Reporting: Drive governance by bringing decision-makers together and providing regular strategic progress reports to senior leadership. Technical Collaboration: Work daily with technical teams to unblock bottlenecks and streamline project delivery.
