Were looking for a Systems Project accountant to join our Brussels-based team of a fixed assignment. This role focuses on the implementation and transition to a new Microsoft Dynamics accounting software solution.

What Youll Do

Youll report to the Head of Finance and work in collaboration with other members of the EED team across different departments. Your key responsibilities will include:

Project manage all phases and communications of the development and implementation of the new Microsoft Dynamics accounting software on behalf of EED with the selected external accounting software solutions provider.

Phases include but are not limited to:

Working with the EED team to decide the necessary inclusions for the new software solution.

Provide the external developers with the required information at every step though coordination with the EED team.

Organising User testing at each phase/for each module.

Ensuring all EED BS accounts and Analytical accounting are reconciled and clean ready for integration.

Manage the Data integration from the old system (File Maker) to the new system

Train new users.

Perform other relevant tasks as and when requested by the Head of Finance.

Maintains confidentiality.

What You Bring

You have:

An internationally recognised professional accounting qualification (or working towards) and/or university degree in Accountancy.

At least 5 years of full-time professional experience working in Belgium in a relevant finance role.

Solid and proven working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and other standard financial tools

Proven experience working with Belgium GAAP and the statutory requirements for Not for Profits.

Proven Project Management skills.

Full professional fluency in English
