Service Technician REGION BEVEREN
Job Summary
Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys working independently and building strong relationships with customers We are looking for a local Service Technician to support our customers in the Port of Antwerp including one of the largest container terminals in Europe.
You will become the trusted on-site technical contact ensuring our systems and equipment continue to operate reliably and efficiently.
Your role
You work daily on fixed customer sites within the Port of Antwerp and build a strong relationship with the customer.
You independently perform maintenance service interventions commissioning and repair works on our installations at customer sites in the Beveren region.
You analyze technical issues and solve problems independently and efficiently.
You carry out your work according to safety regulations and quality standards.
You provide clear and accurate reporting of completed interventions.
You manage your own spare parts stock and visit the HQ (Leuven) approximately once a week to collect or return materials.
Together with colleagues you also assist with installations testing and commissioning of new systems.
You hold a technical A2 degree in electricity electromechanics industrial maintenance or a related field.
Previous experience as a service technician maintenance technician or installer is a strong asset.
You are solution-oriented and able to work independently.
You are flexible hands-on and practical in your approach.
You follow procedures technical instructions and safety guidelines accurately.
Affinity with networking and PC systems is considered a plus.
You have strong communication and administrative skills.
You are willing to participate in an on-call rotation: 1 weekend out of 3 available for emergency interventions between 08:00 and 17:00.
You hold a valid drivers license (category B).
You have an excellent command of Dutch.
A full-time daytime position (39h/week) with 6 additional ADV days per year.
