Senior Tester

As a functional tester you will join a multidisciplinary team composed of project managers analysts developers and business experts. You will work closely with key users and business representatives to understand their work context the

processes associated with the management of urban planning and environmental permits as well as the needs covered by the applications.

Your role is primarily focused on preparing executing and monitoring tests to ensure the quality of solutions deployed in production. As such you will be involved from the initial needs assessment to develop relevant test scenarios that accurately reflect real-world usage.

The position also includes a test automation component. This aspect will be developed progressively as the projects and applications mature. However the role currently remains primarily focused on manual testing and functional validation.

In this context your responsibilities are as follows:

• Quickly understand the business and processes related to the management of urban planning and environmental permits in order to ensure appropriate test coverage;
• Analyze functional specifications change requests and user needs;
• Design document and maintain test scenarios and cases;
• Prepare the data needed for the test campaigns;
• Verify that the functional requirements/specifications have been correctly implemented;
• Perform functional regression and integration tests;
• Identify document and track anomalies until their resolution in Jira;
• Collaborating with analysts business stakeholders and development teams to ensure a shared understanding of the issues encountered;
• Participate in testing activities and validation of deliveries;
• Testing web services using dedicated tools ( SoapUI Postman etc. )
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality and testing processes;
• Gradually participate in the implementation and maintenance of automated tests (Playwright ) when functional stability and application maturity allow.
• Ensure the traceability of tests and the overall quality of delivered applications.
