JOB DESCRIPTION:
As one of our Project Partners your objective is to lead the development of industrial robotic machine prototypes from design through delivery ensuring schedule cost and quality control while coordinating a multidisciplinary team of 4 to 6 people.
Key responsibilities might include:
Define the scope objectives and deliverables of the project with stakeholders
Develop and monitor the project schedule (WBS Gantt critical milestones)
Identify assess and mitigate technical and organizational risks
Ensure regular reporting to management
Manage change requests and their impacts
Lead and coordinate the project team (4 to 6 people): mechanical electrical automation and robotics engineers
Allocate tasks set priorities and manage each members workload
Ensure consistency between functional requirements and selected solutions
Lead integration testing and commissioning phases of the prototype
Manage interfaces with technical suppliers and subcontractors
Establish and monitor the project budget (internal hours purchases quotes)
Anticipate deviations and propose corrective action plans
Contribute to drafting technical specifications
Act as the main point of contact throughout the project
Organize design reviews and milestone presentations (PDR CDR FAT SAT)
Ensure documentation management
Profile:
Masters degree in engineering (robotics automation mechatronics industrial engineering)
Minimum 5-7 years in a project management role within an engineering office or industrial R&D environment
Proven experience in special machinery or robotic prototype development
Direct management experience of a technical team
Knowledge of industrial robot architectures (ABB FANUC Doosan) and robot programming (RAPID Karel or equivalent)
Proficiency with PLC systems (Siemens Beckhoff) drives and reading electrical/mechanical schematics
CAD proficiency or reading skills (CATIA) knowledge of CE 2006/42 machinery standards
Fluent technical English (B2 minimum)
Willingness to work on-site with occasional travel
An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic as well)
Fast availability is preferred
