Job Summary

NextLink is having an existing position as a Senior Project Leader in Brussels area Belgium.

General information:

- Start date: ASAP

- Duration: 12 months renewable

- Workload: full time (2 days on site 3 days remote)

- Work location: Brussels area Belgium

Description:The candidate will work within the Life Information Systems division. This group is responsible for all Life product related developments of underwriting applications and claims management systems. The applications are developed based on a Microfocus mainframe emulator in Windows (programming language Cobol/Mix ) with various technologies used on the frontend (.Net CRM) printing Integration and communication side.

As large part of our portfolio for the upcoming years consists of project activities we need to enforce our project leading capabilities.

In this context the mission of the candidate project leader will be to drive many different projects in many different technologies.

Profile:

Language: English fluent French fluent OR Dutch fluent

Min. 10 years of professional experience

Confirmed experience in managing IT projects (on application side).

During the interview you will be requested to show and discuss project management activities from the past.

Several projects with more than 1000 Mandays

Insurance service experience

Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint)

Prince-2 project management methodology

Experience on waterfall methodology (on Agile/scrum is a plus)

Required Skills:

Technical Skills Required Expertise in statistics and machine learning 7 to 10 years of experience in data science ideally in the healthcare sector Knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA GMP ISO) Excellent written and spoken English Ability to write detailed technical documentation in English Proficiency in R and/or Python Expected Soft Skills Rigor autonomy and strong organizational skills Ability to work in a multicultural and project-based environment Strong interpersonal skills: listening teaching simplification synthesis Service-oriented and scientifically driven mindset Ability to lead and collaborate remotely Flexibility regarding project changes and scheduling constraints Effective in reporting and meeting facilitation
