Are you an experienced Linux professional with a passion for automation infrastructure management and continuous improvement We are looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to join a highly skilled infrastructure team responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise Linux environments.

This role combines hands-on system administration infrastructure automation monitoring and platform engineering within a mission-critical environment.

Your Responsibilities

Manage maintain and optimize Linux server environments

Develop and improve automated installation configuration and administration processes

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions

Monitor system performance availability and security

Document infrastructure configurations procedures and changes

Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives

Collaborate with infrastructure operations and development teams

Support continuous improvement of server management processes and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator

Minimum 10 years of hands-on Linux administration experience (Red Hat Oracle Linux Ubuntu)

Strong system engineering knowledge of Linux-based enterprise environments

Minimum 10 years of experience with databases such as:

• PostgreSQL
• MySQL
• MariaDB

Experience with monitoring and observability platforms:

• Prometheus
• Grafana
• Loki

Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines

Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools:

• Ansible
• AWX
• Terraform

Experience working with enterprise infrastructure solutions

Native-level Dutch proficiency (CEFR C2)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ITIL processes particularly Change Management

Experience with Foreman or similar lifecycle management tools

Experience with Jira and Confluence

Knowledge of middleware networking security platforms Active Directory LDAP and enterprise services
