Job Summary
Senior IT Infrastructure Architect
Overview
We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Architect to design model and oversee the evolution of enterprise infrastructure environments ensuring performance security scalability and compliance. The role focuses on defining infrastructure architectures across on-premises cloud and hybrid environments while supporting major transformation and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business project and technical requirements to define infrastructure solutions.
- Design and document infrastructure architectures technical diagrams and target-state models.
- Model simulate and assess current and future infrastructure environments.
- Design and implement on-premises cloud and hybrid integration solutions.
- Review and validate project deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with architectural standards.
- Integrate cybersecurity principles into infrastructure design and implementation.
- Contribute to security and compliance frameworks including GDPR ISO 27001 and NIS2 requirements.
- Support cyber risk management activities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation standards and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance resilience and security.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture.
- Strong expertise in cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Experience with virtualization compute storage and network infrastructure design.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) IaaS and PaaS models.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking and security concepts including Firewalls IAM Zero Trust and secure architecture principles.
- Experience with governance compliance and enterprise architecture standards.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and service management practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cloud infrastructure security or architecture certifications.
- Experience in highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements applicable to essential service operators.
