Senior Data Warehouse Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Warehouse Developer to design develop and maintain modern cloud-based data warehouse solutions. You will work within a multidisciplinary data team to build scalable data pipelines optimize data models and support business intelligence and analytics initiatives using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Transform data from multiple Azure Data Lake Storage sources into business-ready data models.
• Design and maintain scalable data warehouse architectures and cloud-based data storage solutions.
• Develop test and deploy data solutions using Azure DevOps.
• Perform data ingestion transformation validation cleansing and integration to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers architects and other technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Contribute to Agile development activities and take a leading role where required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse Modeling.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks (Delta Lake).
• Hands-on experience with PySpark.
• Experience with HashiCorp Terraform.
• Experience planning designing and building data warehouse applications using tools such as Cognos or DataStage.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts architectures and best practices.
• Experience building data warehouse components including:
  • ETL/ELT data integration
  • Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and analytics
  • Database development
  • Metadata management
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong project-based experience in data warehouse development or formal education in data warehouse modeling.
• Dutch language proficiency at CEFR C2 level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the public sector.
• Familiarity with the organizations existing data platform.

Contract Details

• Start Date: 13 July 2026
• End Date: 31 January 2027
• Workload: Full-time
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (remote work available by mutual agreement)
