SAP/ABAP Developer (Expert)

Overview
This role is part of the ERP team within the Digital Business Solutions department. The team supports key business domains including HR Finance Logistics Purchasing and related corporate functions. The SAP/ABAP Developer will contribute to the design development and maintenance of SAP solutions ensuring system stability performance and continuous improvement of business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects to define technical solutions
• Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications
• Design develop and maintain SAP ABAP and ABAP OO applications
• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications (minimum 3 years experience required)
• Work on SAP workflows interfaces and web services integration
• Develop and maintain IDocs Web Dynpro applications Smartforms and Adobe Forms
• Perform technical impact analysis and effort estimation for changes
• Ensure service continuity performance and maintainability of SAP solutions
• Develop and execute unit tests and support quality assurance activities
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation
• Adhere to internal SAP development standards methods and procedures

Required Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as SAP ABAP Developer (ABAP / ABAP OO)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP Fiori (mandatory)
• Strong experience with SAP Workflows Web Services and middleware integration
• Experience with SAP modules: SD MM FI CO PM EWM
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong knowledge of Web Dynpro IDocs Smartforms and Adobe Forms
• Ability to work fluently in Dutch or French (one national language required)
• Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
• Experience in the energy sector is an advantage

Working Conditions

• Location: Brussels Belgium
• Work model: Hybrid (max 2 days remote / week 3 days on-site)
• Contract type: Time & Material assignment
• Workload: Full-time (100%)
• Total duration: 440 working days (extendable up to 72 months)
• Equipment: Laptop provided by client

Team Context
Part of an ERP team (15 professionals) including developers functional analysts and project managers reporting directly to the ERP Team Manager.
