We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support a global S/4HANA Digital Transformation programme within the Life Sciences industry. The consultant will play a key role in the evolution of the global core solution across multiple releases ensuring the successful design validation deployment and transition of SAP Warehouse Management capabilities.
Working closely with Global Process Owners (GPOs) business stakeholders deployment teams and technical teams you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of warehouse management and inventory management solutions that align with the global template while meeting country-specific business requirements.
This is a remote position with occasional business travel and offers the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale global transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of SAP EWM and Inventory Management solutions across multiple S/4HANA release cycles.
Review analyse and shape global and local business requirements for warehouse management processes.
Conduct Fit/Gap assessments against the approved global template and core SAP solution.
Collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPOs) functional teams and business stakeholders to define scalable warehouse management solutions.
Prepare maintain and update functional design and solution documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Produce detailed functional specifications for approved developments and provide clarification to development teams during build activities.
Support detailed design reviews to ensure alignment with global standards and governance.
Participate in change control processes and maintain project governance documentation within designated project management tools.
Support the creation and execution of Operational Qualification (OQ) documentation and assist with Performance Qualification (PQ) testing activities.
Contribute to deployment readiness activities including solution validation release assessments and sign-off processes.
Support cutover planning transition activities and knowledge transfer to deployment and support teams.
Assist in the development of global training materials and change impact assessments.
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time within scope and aligned to programme governance.
Requirements
8 years of SAP EWM consulting experience.
Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management implementations or transformation programmes.
Strong background supporting global SAP deployment projects and template rollouts.
Experience conducting Fit/Gap workshops and translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Demonstrated experience producing functional specifications and solution design documentation.
Experience supporting testing activities including OQ and PQ documentation.
Knowledge of release management deployment readiness and cutover planning.
Experience working within structured project governance frameworks.
Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders Global Process Owners (GPOs) developers and cross-functional teams.
Experience working in regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals Life Sciences or Healthcare is highly desirable.
Experience working in global multi-country programme environments.
