Project Manager Business Process Optimisation
Job Summary
A leading global banking and financial services institution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Transformation Office.

This is a hands-on project management role for someone who enjoys working across business functions challenging existing ways of working and turning strategic objectives into practical measurable outcomes.
- Establish project charters in collaboration with business stakeholders defining and monitoring project scope objectives timelines budgets dependencies and risks.
- Take end-to-end ownership of transformation projects from initiation and planning through implementation and closure.
- Manage project budgets resources delivery teams and timelines while ensuring that deliverables meet agreed quality standards.
- Analyse existing business processes and operating models identifying opportunities to improve efficiency productivity controls and customer experience.
- Map and document As-Is processes identify gaps and pain points and design appropriate To-Be processes and operating models.
- Define and track relevant performance indicators including volumes processing times workload and service outcomes to ensure improvements are sustainable.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and business teams to define project scope evaluate solutions and develop practical implementation plans.
- Identify the resources technology budgets and organisational capabilities required to successfully deliver transformation initiatives.
- Monitor developments across the banking and financial services sector including changes in customer expectations technology regulation and operating models and assess their potential impact on the organisation.
- Act as a facilitator and change agent removing obstacles coordinating stakeholders and creating the conditions required for successful delivery.
- Coordinate project activities according to priorities capabilities and business requirements ensuring effective governance and transparent progress reporting.
- Coach and support project contributors helping to build high-performing teams focused on continuous improvement process simplification customer experience and digital transformation.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology and digitalisation to simplify processes improve service quality and enhance operational efficiency.
As a member of the Transformation Office you will also:
- Share project experiences methodologies lessons learned and best practices with colleagues across the transformation community.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the teams knowledge and capabilities particularly around innovation digitalisation customer behaviour and developments within financial services.
- Act as an ambassador for transformation across the organisation.
- Promote a practical solutions-focused and collaborative approach to change.
- Challenge existing practices constructively and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
- Help create an environment where colleagues are empowered to identify opportunities and deliver meaningful change.
You will bring:
- 5 years of practical experience in project management transformation operational excellence or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies with practical experience working in Agile environments.
- Proven experience in process management process optimisation and business process reengineering.
- Excellent planning organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with the confidence to challenge established ways of working.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels of an organisation.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and remain effective in a complex changing environment.
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Experience within banking financial services insurance or another highly regulated industry would be advantageous.
- Experience working with customer-facing or operational processes is a plus.
- Professional fluency in French and English; working knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.
